Aki Kurose Middle School Leadership Announcement
Dear Aki Kurose School Community,
I am pleased to announce Daniel Reeves as the new principal of Aki Kurose Middle School.
Principal Reeves was selected through a formal interview process that included staff, students, parents, and community participation. What stood out to the Aki Kurose team is his strong instructional leadership experience, commitment to the school’s community with a 10-year tenure as assistant principal, as well as his collaborative and equity-driven approach.
We will be setting up opportunities for building staff, students, and families to meet Principal Reeves. His start date will be July 1, 2025.
I want to thank Principal Caine Lowery for his leadership at Aki Kurose Middle School and wish him much success on his next adventure.
