    Summer School Programs for Seattle Public Schools Students

    Calendar of videos and lesson handouts for K-8 students to work independently on literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities.

    Summer 2021

    This summer SPS is providing the following summer learning options available, which all students can participate in (if students receive special education services or 504 accommodations, staff will consult with Summer Staircase teachers):

    • An interactive calendar for K-8 students to work independently on literacy, math, and social-emotional learning activities. (see above)
    • In-person classes will run from July 6 to July 30, Monday through Friday (except the first week, which starts on Tuesday due to the 4th of July holiday).
    • High School Credit Recovery
    • Summer Spanish 1 Course
    • CTE courses Career and Technical Education courses
    • Summer Bridge Program for students moving from 5th grade to 6th grade prepares students entering middle school next year that will focus on developing the skills and mindset necessary for this transition. Sign up now for the BRIDGE program: Bridge registration form
