    Black Girls Create (BGC). This 9-week long program is an opportunity for young people to tap into their creative side and learn the basics of painting and embroidery while reflecting on topics such as racism, sexism, (un)healthy relationships and how these show up in the daily lives of Black girls*. The program will be led through positive adult support, creative activities, and partnerships with community leaders. 

    Program Details: 

    • Dates: June 29th - August 26th 2021
    • When + Where: Tuesdays (virtual) and Thursdays (in-person, social distanced at our Beacon Hill office) from 11:30am - 3pm
    • Deadline for registration: applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all participant slots are filled
    • Eligibility: participants must be between the ages of 11-14 and either live or go to school in the city of Seattle.
