Bell times survey - family feedback is critical
    Posted on 10/09/2015

How will bell times affect us? We need to share our concerns with the district BEFORE October 14.

Seattle Public Schools is proposing changing the start and end times for most schools next year (2016-17). The Superintendents’ recommendation is to have Aki Kurose students start school at 9:40 a.m., and get out at 4:10 p.m. This will have significant impacts to our Aki students and, more broadly, our Aki families and community.

Consider how you and your family will be impacted by the proposed recommendation of Seattle Public Schools to change the bell times.

    Respond to the following:

Which of the following describes you as it relates to Seattle Public Schools? (Circle all that apply)

Parent of current student                Community Member             Current student

If current students or parent of current students, please indicate school levels (Circle all that apply):

Elementary                Middle School            K-8      High School

In regards to the Superintendents’ final draft recommendation (the bell times changes), please check one:

Yes I agree with the recommendations

No I do not agree with the recommendations

Yes but with the following changes:

Please return this survey to Aki Kurose by October 13, so we can send it to the school board, or send it directly: Seattle Public Schools Superintendent and school board, 2445 3rd Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98134
