Throughout U.S. history and during this global pandemic, hate crimes and racial discrimination against the AAPI community have been on the rise and most go unreported. We see our most vulnerable members of the AAPI community and innocent lives targeted and we want to take action.

Most recently, on March 16th the tragedy of the innocent lives of the shootings in Atlanta struck communities throughout the country and we are here in solidarity with the victims:
Delaina Ashley Yaun, Paul Andre Michels, Xiao Jie Tan, Dao You Feng, Soon Chung Park, Hyun Jung Grant, Yong Ae Yue, and Suncha Kim

We want to show our support, love, and acknowledgement while bringing awareness to the AAPI community.

We are gathering in solidarity with our Asian American Pacific Islander community.
Be sure to wear RED in support of the AAPI community when coming to the socially-distanced, peaceful demonstration on Saturday April 3rd from 12pm to 2pm at the Franklin High School Field and the intersection of Rainier and MLK.

To show our support we will be making posters with encouraging messages and putting them around our fence and a bridge.
