    African American Family night, with special guest speaker Nancy Hill, Ph.D., Professor of Education, Harvard University.

    Aki Kurose Culture Night - Thursday, June 4 at 5:30 p.m.

    Celebrate the diverse cultures of Aki! The Aki social studies department is in our 4th eyar of working with teaching artist Aaron Walker-Loud (or Arts Corps and Big World Breaks). This project is about building communtiy through drumming, spoken word and sharing in a potluck meal. Let's all work together to change our community for the better and work to be our best selves! All Aki families are welcome. Bring your family's favorite dish to share in the multicultural potluck. Students, get a performance application from Mr. Kreiger, room 102.
