    Dear Aki families, As we enter fall with the shorter daylight hours (Daylight Saving clock adjustment set to happen on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2:00AM - set clocks back 1 hour), it is extra important to focus on getting to school safely! Encourange your students to use their flashing Aki lights when walking to school or waiting at a busstop. (Hundreds of students picked these up at orientation and curriculum night.)   • After-school programs begin October 9

  • School Year Calendar

    The Seattle School Board adopted the 2017-18 school calendar at the June 7 board meeting.

    Students will be released 75 minutes early every Wednesday, except for the first day of school. This is to support improved teacher collaboration and student academic performance.

    This summer our district and school websites are receiving a major facelift. Our first priority for the website redesign project is to ensure families, students, staff, and community can easily find critical district and school resources.
