New event: 9th grade Schedule Planning Fiesta!

Thursday, April 28th 5 - 6 p.m., help your child choose their 9th grade classes!

Thank you to all the families who came to our Registration Fiesta to help their child choose their 9th grade classes! Families had a chance to preview the registration form for their child’s high school and talk with their child about their choice of 9th grade classes.

High school registration for 9th grade happened the following morning during the school day.

Families also had a chance to mingle with other 8th grade families preparing for high school and enjoy finger food from Maya’s Mexican Restaurant, and we had a raffle for high school swag! It is crucial that students understand that they need to earn a certain number of credits each year of high school to be on track to graduate high school, and to be eligible for college entry.Passing Middle School Washington State History is a high school graduation requirement, but starting in 9th grade, all classes, and their associated credits, count.
